Lucy Gray grew up performing on midwest festival stages from age 7 while studying classical & fiddle style violin. Soon she was performing her own original songs leading her to become a 4 time recipient of Missouri University's COMP award for songwriting and music composition, invitations to speak to and inspire young audiences, repeated radio spins, TV appearances including Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour on PBS and a grant awarded by Heartland Song Network to record her first single, "sixteen & happy" in 2024. Lucy enjoys writing in pop and classical music genres and was named a semi-finalist in ASCAP's Morton Gould Young Composers Award in 2025 and a winner of ASCAP's Music Is My Foundation Award in 2026.
